Mark, the passengers and crew are in the wing-pods...draught-free ! POSH passengers on sunny side, cattle class on the other. Pods could be detachable in-flight to parachute down to intermediate destinations.

Funny enuf, last year on SKY TV there was a clip in possibly Discovery Wings, either there or one of the other Discovert chan's which portrayed a single seat aircraft very similar to this'un.

Ugly thing but it did work.

Was it the Stipa-Caproni ? There is modern replica in Australia I did "fly"...well hopped,weird or what ?
