1 Patrick Ryan is a current author
2 Venus's pet was Zoonie, a Lazoon.
3 The P1127 Kestrel was the Harrier prototype, I remember the Aifix kit coming out in a bag and wondering what on earth it was!
4 The other was the Victory ship, a good friend of mine sails on a preserved one annually.
5 Bill Olmstead
6 I think a Ford Anglia
7 Judge Fullton (Lawrence Naismith) I still have the soundtrack on a 7" single.
8 The first unmanned was Luna 2 in 1959 and the first manned was Apollo 11 in July 1969
9 The original Fathom was measured as outstrethced arms and is now equal to 2 yards or 6 feet. The word itself is derived from the old english word "faethm", which actually means outstretched arms.
10 Walter Wolfe designed the periscope.

I can't say I've heard of Patrick Ryan the comedian. Does he do a turn down your local social club?

1. The Patrick Ryan is one of the US Super Aircraft Carriers, is it not?
6. I thought it was a Zyphr, a tad bigger than a Ford Anglia.
