| How about a field trip? Howdy Guys,
I just came from the www.cardmodels.net where I invited the membership there to visit here in an effort to expand not only this websites membership, but also theirs.
I made mention that the membership there should visit here and invite the members here to visit there.
Now, I wish to make the same suggestion here. I think it would be nice if those people interested in cardmodels, would visit their site, www.cardmodels.net and invite their membership here to look around, join and visit with our membership.
Both sites deal with models and a model is a model regardless of what materials they are constructed of. Sometimes, the more exotic the material the more interest there is in the models.
So, if you get the chance and have the desire, drop by www.cardmodels.net, join and invite them to visit our site here. There are things that both groups could learn from each other, I know this first hand having a duel citizenship at both sites. I really think that the two sites compliment each other and I know that the people from both sites would get along great.
Have a good day and thanks for the interest,
Greg aka GW |

| | Guest | GW,
We might add that we have one think in common. We do Vacuum form some of our canopies. We also have some unique ways of doing this also. So please do stop by and check it out. | |

| Hi Barry and all members!
You have a great forum here and as you can see we "yanks" are already starting to come around and take a look.
I'll reinforce Geedubbyas' invite to do the same at Cardmodels.net |

| Howdy Webdude!,
Glad you could make it! I am sure that the members here will just swarm your website now. As I stated, when I introduced the first few cardmodels here it was like I had opened a new world to some members, they seem to be amazed at the detail that can be achieved in cardmodels.
When they make it to your site, www.paperian.com/webdude/pcft.html and see all your free models and those designed by other members of the cardmodels website, I think they will realize that cardmodels include a range of topics never before attempted in plastic. Your Wcky races models with dick dasterly and penelope pitstops vehicles will surely be a hit along with Ashrunners models of the Flinstones vehicles. Again, I think these are models never attempted in plastic.
Again, let me welcome you to the forum, look around., mix, mingle, post and enjoy!
Have a good day,
Greg aka GW |

| Howdy Barry, everyone,
Well this little "field trip" I suggested is a win win situation for both websites, and the members as well. With each visit, each website gains a new member and the knowledge that new member shares. The members gain insight into the other modeling aspects including models, tips, hints, and tricks, etc...Everyone wins!
Not to mention the friendships that can be made thru interaction between the new members on each website.
The "field trip" is not about taking members from one site to another, but an opening of new avenues in modeling, to the members of both sites. A "broadening of horizons" if you will, for all involved.
I am glad to see that people from both sites are beginning to move back and forth between the two sites.
Welcome to all the new members, we are glad to have you here.
have a good day,
greg aka GW |
