L 410 TURBOLET free download

Howdy Guys,

How about a twin engined L 410 Turbolet? Dont know what a "turbolet" is huh? lol well, thats why I added the photo below:

Ok, now that I have brought ya'll "up to speed", If you would like this model, you can start the download by clicking here: Civil aircraft L-410 . This model is approx. 1:48 scale and comes in white with blue trim. No wingtip tanks though....sorry, you'll have to build your own if you want them.
This is a very nice model once completed, "trust me" its worth your time to build.
Oh, btw, its a winrar file meaning you will need to have winrar to open it. You can download winrar by clicking here: WinRAR 3.60 beta 8 . Its very similar to a zipped file such as "winzip". Winrar is a good program to have in as much as several models and other things are compressed using winrar.

Have a good day,

greg aka GW

PS: Just curious, Do you prefer that I provide a way to download straight from this page or would you rather click a link and go looking for the models when I post them? Please let me know with your response to this posting.

Which ever is the easier Greg, one thing that I notice is that a lot of these models are quite large and do not fit onto A4 sheets, would it be best if we take the file along to a printshop and ask them to print them out onto larger card panels ? is this the way that you do it,or do you have a printer that takes larger sizes ?

but then even if you print them off on A4 they are still to scale so it dosnt really matter.

Howdy guys,

first, thanks for the input. Now as for the A4 vs "regular 8½" x 11½" paper....when you open a .pdf file, and are ready to print the page(s), first click "file" at top left corner of screen and then go to "page set up" select the paper size that you will be using and click "ok". Then, click "file" again and go to "print". Here, about half way down you will see an option called "paper scaling". click the "dropdown" arrow and select "FIT TO PAPER". This will allow you to print the model onto whatever size paper you may be using.
It may decrease the actual model scale a small bit, but not too much as to be really noticible.
In the preview section on the Print box, you will see a thumbnail of the current page you are viewing, Down below that thumbnail, you will see something like "zoom 89%" or "90%" etc. Do not worry about this percentage, the computer has computed the best possible size to fit the paper you have chosen.
Now you are ready to click "ok" and start printing.

Now I realize that in the UK and Europe, ya'll use A4 paper....personally I have never seen A4 paper, but I am guessing it is abit smaller than our standard 8½" x 11½" paper...all I can say is "you know us Americans, we gotta have everything "Supersized" lol.
If you have anymore printing questions please feel free to ask. I will be working on a Henschel HS 124 A1 Biplane (plastic) all day until I finish it and will be taking frequent breaks to come on line.

Have a good day,

Greg

A4 is 8.4 x 11.7 (thats not exact as we use the "modern" metric system :P

so in the metric system its 21cm x 29.5cm

Thanks RJ

Howdy again Guys,

About taking the models to the print shop......thats fine and some people do it but, and this is a big but, some print shops will not print anything with a copyright mark on it, so make sure if you take one to the print shop....it doesnt have a copyright mark on it

(one of these days I will show ya'll how to make these)

Have a good day,

Greg
