Card Model History

This is Gunnar Sillen's Paper Model site which shows some of the history of Card Models. He claims proof of cardmodels dating back to the 18th century.
very interesting. See it here

Howdy Phil,

Thanks for posting that, I have been coming here for a few weeks and been meaning to post a little something on the history of cardmodels, but never seem to be able to get around to it. I am glad you are settling in and making yourself at home. Having been running back and forth between this site and the card models site, advertising for both, attempting to generate interest for both sites with the other, as well as answering questions and making posts of freebies, and trying to build models all at the same tme, I was running myself ragged lol.
Its nice to have someone jump in and help out especially in this particular instance, one I have neglected. Thanks again for posting this bit of info, it will surely answer alot of questions.

Have a good day,

greg
