Howdy Guys,

I dont know if Dick Dasterdly and Muttley and Penelope Pittstop ever made it to the UK or not, but during the late sixties and early seventies, there were cartoons starring all of these characters and more. Cartoons like "Wacky Races", "Stop that Pidgeon" and "The perils of Penelope Pittstop".
The Webdude has kindly designed all of the vehicles from the cartoon "Wacky Races" and offered them as Free downloads.

Yes Greg, we had Wacky Racers and grew up with them as well!!

All good stuff and the models bring back a few memories. When I was a kid I could laugh just like Mutley. ...Medal!,...Medal!,...Medal!

...and I've never told that to anyone before!!

Howdy Bunker,

Well, I certainly hope that someone takes the time to build some of these little "treasures". I was reading about "nostalgia" in one of the other threads and for some reason, Dick Dasterdly and Muttley came to mind.
Myself and others from the cardmodel site are currently trying to locate the download link to a model that I have, that was once offered as a freebie, its Dick Dasterdlys Airplane from the Vulture Squadron. As soon as we locaate a link for ya'll to download it, I will post it. But just to give you a taste of the model we are looking for, here are some photos of a completed model:





Of Course anyone who sees this model will recognize it right away,
Hopefully I will be able to post the link to this little jewel sometime very soon.

Yes we certainly had Wacky Races here and I grew up with those cartoons too as a Kid, who could forget Muttley's famous laugh !!!! I still enjoy watching them on TV even now !!...... I even have 2 Muttley T shirts !!!
