Halinski - Hurricane Mk.II

Here are a few photos of a model I finished a few months ago. It is from Kartonowy Arsenal published by Mr. Halinski (a name well known in the card modeling community). This is one of his older kits so not much detail and no moveable surfaces.

This may be an older kit but the detail is still superb. I particularly like the wheel wells and the realistic weathering on the undersides.

I didn't even realise that these models were now being designed with moveable surfaces. Card models never fail to amaze at the moment.

Likewise, the attention to detail is amazing, you can see here that the Hurricane's wheel wells are far from just flat plates, these reproduce well in card the wonder material that has been with us since times immortal.

Yes, these are old kits. Just to give you an idea of the detail level that modern kits have reached, check out the "vanila" build pics on Halinski's site: http://www.halinski.com.pl/indexgb.php?link=8. The Dauntless (sixth from the bottom) is the most detailed aircraft in paper I've ever seen. In 1:33 scale it has about 1500 parts...

Thank you for all your kind words.
