Truck Site

I am looking for a truck site that has a whole heap of cardstock trucks on it, everything from Russian tippers to sweddish semi-trailers also a large dump truck which is in yellow. Can anyone help me find this site.

Howdy Russell,

Ok, am I reading this right? you are looking for a specific website containing those vehicles or you are just looking for cardmodel trucks?
I can come up with links to trucks, and with a little more info, i might be able to find a particular site for ya, but i need a little bit more info.

you might try looking at some of these sites:

http://www.icebergbouwplaten.nl/indexe.html click on links to go to hundreds of cardmodel links including trucks and vehicles.

http://www.3dpapermodel.com.tw/ scroll down left to find vehicles and click on it, then browse vehicles.

http://web.archive.org/web/20050404190727/www.freepapertoys.com/pt-cars.html approx 100+ links to vehicle cardmodels.

This oughta keep ya busy for a little while, when ya finish those, let me know and i will provide more lol.

I hope this helps, like i said, if there is a particular site, i will need a little more info, but i might be able to find it for you, just let me know.

Have a good evening,

Greg aka GEEDUBBYA (GW)

Howdy Miss charlotte,

Well, to be honest, alot of this stuff concerning models, aircraft etc, comes from having looked it all up before at one time or another.
Plus, I keep a favorite links list that has info on most anything to do with aircraft, plastic models, cardmodels, tips and techniques etc.
So its really nothing for me to see a "need" and be able to open my favorites and go either straight to it or go someplace that is close or will put me close to what i am looking for.
I only use google for searches and after you use them awhile you discover you can ask for one thing, but with the addition or removal of one word, you can get even more results. I have learned to be specific in what i search for in google....and, when being too specific doesnt get the results i want, i get less specific, or add a word you know is contained in what you are searching for.

One recent instance was the Gloster gladiator thread, instead of just searching for "gloster gladiator", i instead searched for "Gloster gladiator Malta" since i knew that the model in question fought there. This gave me results i wouldnt get with the first search. Then by right clicking on any photos i see, and choosing properties, i am able to gather more info, maybe a name contained in the link or file name, then i can search that name in conjunction with my original search for even more results.

The internet is exactly what it says, a "net', links that are all interconnected, if you follow one, it leads to another and then more, and those lead to more and more. Its all a matter of how far you want to follow and what "turns/decisions" you make along the way that determines where you will end up.

But when the "ride" is over dont be suprised if you happen to come to this link:

Have a good day all,

Howdy Russell,

Ok, at this point I think its time for specialized help, so, I am gonna send you to a specialist on card model trucks. His name is "Rickstef" over at the cardmodels forum, he is a real fan of all things "truck" and is also one of the administrators of the cardmodel forum. If anyone can find this site, it would be him since cardmodel trucks are his speciality.
You will need to join the site if you havent already, it can be found here: http://www.zealot.com/index.php?page=cardmodels.net .
Now if you already have joined that site, you probably know who Rick is and know that he is willing to help anyone in anyway he can.
But, being this is trucks we are looking for and not aircraft (which are my strong point), I believe Rick would be of the most help to you. Once you join, you can private message him or post a new thread asking for help from the general membership like you did here. (many heads are better than one), or do both.

Anyway, I hope this helps and leads you to the site you are looking for. Have a good day,

Greg
