Exclamation Free Model Patrol Boat

Howdy guys and Gals,

Ok, Mark had asked me to post some more boat/ship cardmodels since he found some interest in the last one I posted in the cardmodel section of the forum. He stated that it had "possiblities" to become the basis of an RC model.
So I decided to browse some of my old cardmodel favorite sites and I came across a "rapid response Patrol Boat" of the Uraguay navy thinking that it might be something of use to you RC boat modelers.
So here are a few photos of the completed model from the website and a link to the translated webpage where the free files are located.

Now as you can see this is a fairly straight forward model, I dont know if it could be used as the basis for an RC or not, thats up to ya'll. But you can find the free downloadable files and instructions on this link which I have translated into english: Translated version of http://www.geocities.com/cutelo02/vigilante.htm the untranslated link is found here: Modelismo Naval - Uruguay (Vigilante)
Ne sure to check out their links page found here (translated): Translated version of http://www.geocities.com/cutelo02/vigilante.htm .

Have a good day all, hope someone enjoys this,

Greg

Thanks Greg,

Yep, another one ripe for R/C Conversion - Just looking at the PDF files gives you all the Bulkhead sections - same as the Lilla, doing the hull from those is very straightforward and the rest of the model is easy from there.

I have years of Plan drawing experience under my belt so doing this one and the Lilla is no problem at all.

Thanks for posting !!!

Regards.........Mark

Howdy Mark,

Well I have always thought that cardmodel boats were very similar to the real thing in the way that they have the internal structure similar to the real thing (ribs and keels, cross members etc.).
Anyway, i will post more as I remember them lol.

Have a good day,

Greg
