Here's a pic of my son (right) when he was 11, with a few of the Estes rockets we built together at school. I'm still flying model rockets some 20 years later, some of which I've built from card model designs. Had a good launch recently, with an Estes "Phoenix" scale missile.

PS - can anyone tell me why this tiny picture, only 15.3K, apparently virtually fills my "attachments" quota, when the stated maximum picture size is around 200K?
