Sorry if this one has been place here before.
This is a 1/12th Tamayi kit and will be finished inside & out with working lights front & rear, for the lights I will be using Luxon LED's as these put out a very bright and powerful beam without doing damage to the plastic that is around it (fingers crossed) the interior has been taking a while to do as I'm setting it up more as a fairly mordern car rather than the safari car of its era (cheating a bit) but as I have not a lot of info that's th way I'm doing.
So here's my photos so far.

Am flying model helicopters and just getting going on scale. My entry level is putting a Blade 400 mechanics into an Align Hughes HD500 fuselage designed for the Trex 450.
I want to put the correct arrangement of nav and recognition lights on this body but the information seems somewhat confusing. For example, tail lights sometimes seem to be a constant white but then I saw a Yeovilton based Sea King with a flashing white tail strobe alternating the flashes with white strobe another underneath the body. I thought that helicopters normally had a red 'obstruction' strobe either under body or on top (where some HD 500s seem to have them. But maybe this is the way it is done in the USA because I also saw an AH 101 out of Augusta/Westland at Yeovil with the same lighting as the Sea King.
So advice please, particularly for the HD500 on the lights arrangement. Having said that I have noticed that whilst most full sized HD 500s seem to have the port and starboard nav lights on the front of the landing skids but I also have a picture of one which has them in the fuselage just infront of the front landing struts.
Thanks in advance for any helpful advice

Every now and again I get an email from someone who has joined yet can't workout how to post, I thought for every person that emails me there's probably several that havent and have not posted and not come back, which is a great loss, so this is a quick beginners guide to posting on the forum.
There are several ways but with out complicating things these are the easiest on the main page of the forum you will see a listing of each forum available you will also notice that there are 2 small icons near the middle of the page, one is a magnifying glass the other is like a notepad icon, if you press that on the forum you would like to post in it will go straight to the post editor box
All you need to do is put in your title. Type your message and press the Submit New Thread button, it's that easy
To reply to a post there are a couple of way of doing this.
Just above the fist post and just below the last one is a Post Reply button, that will take you in to the full screen editor the same as post new thread, or you can use the Quick Reply box, this one's even easier, type your message and submit it and finally there is the quote post button, that shows at the bottom of every persons post, it enables you to quote a post in your reply.
Hope this has helped, if not let me know and I will expand this
John
