Cool, stuck that on the planner, now I can see what all the armour nuts get so excited about,
Apparently the T34's a popular subject and i'm wanting to delve into tanks.

The T-34 changed everything about tank design, pretty much everything since has been influenced by it. Not bad considering that Stalin very nearly scrapped it!

You don't want in this thing, you don't get in this thing. I cut you out of everything. I don't need you. Sixty feet of bridge I can get almost anywhere. Schmuck!"

I was just about to watch it, (thumbs up sky plus), but the missis decided to watch a movie instead, typical, most nights she gets to about 9.30 then says you can put whatever you want on, i'm not watching anything, usually that results in my switching it off, tonight when i'm thinking, great i'll watch this................

Oh well, it's sitting on the HDD, i'll watch it tonight before bed or tomorrow most likely.

Watched this last night and the UH-1 afterwards, the T34 film was more inteteresting to watch, but have to say i thought it a criminal shame when they were showing video of tipping the Helicopters off the sides of the aircraft carriers.
I really enjoyed watching the T34 one, i can see how it was such an influential design now too.
Only problem is i'm now looking for a T34 kit, LOL
Anyone have an opinion on the Zvezda 35th scale tank models? Have seen a couple.

I thought the T-34 one was the best, mainly for the footage, some of which I've never seen before.
The story of how one destroyed 40+ German tanks before taking a 100mm shell up the back is a bit of a myth ; I've read similar accounts where it's a KV-1.
I'd say Dragon make the best examples of the T-34, I've built the 85mm version circa 1944 which had lots of detail & PE bits. My build threads on here somewhere!
