Flair revival.

Just learned this morning that Flair products are on the move to new premises, and guess where they are moving ? just a mile down the road from where I live here in leafy Warwick ! it looks as if they decided to start afresh with new premises moving into a more central location for their distribution network.
I will give them a few days to settle in and write to them requesting a visit with a view to doing a write-up for Scale-models here on their current range and ask to take a few pictures of the new set up for you all to see what the place looks like.
Flair are producers of the well known biplane and scale kits designed by the companies founder Dudley Pattison who sold out a few years back, their legendary and highly successful Puppeteer is one of my all time favourite flyers my own model having clocked up a few hundred hours flying time in its day.
Flair Models Ltd, The Wharf Centre,
Wharf Street, Warwick, CV34 5LB

Oddly enough this is the second company to set up its base in Warwick, the Cambrian kit company moved in a few years ago supposedly also on an industrial estate here, however despite making contact with the new owner and him promising to contact me he never did for some reason ? so I do not know what happened to Cambrian who made some good kits in their time.
The new premises for Flair lie on an older industrial site with excellent road links to anywhere in the UK in a central location,I await more news with great interest and will report back when the situation is clearer..

I mentioned Scale-models and also that it would be nice to do an interview with them regarding the history of the company and its plans for the future,so I will be seeing them after they have settled in.One remarkable thing that came out is the production of their best selling kit,the Flair Puppeteer of which 14,000 kits to date have now been produced ! that must be close to a record in kit production.
The premises are much larger than before with a current staff of 8 people.
