Well gents(and Ladies),

As I write this we are departing from Port Canaveral in early evening. The air is clear and cold and the orange glow across the whole horizon is lighting up the evening sky.

Out of my office port hole the sun is reflecting off the sides of the Canaveral shuttle launch towers and the pelicans are circling the ship and skimming the waves so close that they seem to enjoy thier wing tips dipping into the crests.

Life isn't too bad sometimes.

*** Richard how considerate of you to let us share a piece of your everyday life on board, how the world of communications has made the world a smaller place to be,and above all know that you have many modelling friends only a stroke away from your keyboard, wonderful.

You know what, when I get bored of the stunning views I can always think of you guys freezing at home and that makes me feel even better!!

Seriously though this forum helps me to remember why I am here and what I have at home. Trust me, sunset or not, I would still rather be where you are right now.

I do appreciate reading and contributing to the forum though and I am sure that Nigel and Charlotte should consider writing sit-coms. I can't wait for the rest of the family to join in.

biggest problem we have is the fume extraction system, it changes the air in the studio 8 times every hour, so just as you warm up the building the warm air is sucked out !- the solvents we use to stick the stuff together is just so bad for you we have no option.....

( thats why i wear two fleeces to work !!!!! )
