It Takes All Sorts!

I just came across this statement on a website called prewarcar:

Ron Dingwall 12/4/2005
I am currently installing an R-R merlin engine in my datsun pickup, and looking for idea's on which gearbox to use to transmit power to the worm drive, hub reduction rear axle. The Fuller 5 speed works well with the Gardner 4LK in my Vanguard pickup but may be too light for the Merlin, any suggestions (other than ("get a life") would be appreciated, thanks,Ron Dingwall

I think I need to go and have a stiff drink now!
