engine looked bare so its now being plumbed properly (thinking about the gun bays as well now ( bloody prop is inaccurate though)

story so far

Well folks i thought id just pop a few pics up from my group build spit as you can see i have butchered her a bit made an engine and mounts pre shaded the panel lines, just got the plumbing for the engine and cockpit to do

Nice spot of detail Nigel. What did you do the pre-shading with? I am not too sure that this has a great deal of effect.

I think putting a wash over a coat of future gives more realistic panel shading. Are you going to do that as well or let the preshading show through and do the job?

Coming along nicely though.

It depends on scale sometimes it looks right other times you still need a wash also the paint may be too opaque to let it show thru and in that case its a coat of klear and then redone with a draughting pen (isograph)

Coming along very nicely Nigel. You certainly can't beat the shape of a Spitfire.

I like the extra detailed bits inside the engine bay. Is this destined for a diorama?
