Hi John,
thanks for the welcome, to be honest I was looking for information on Lathes.I think the wording I used was "Seig mini lathe" on the google, which brought up a thread on your forum.
On a personal note I have a R/C electric helicopter that I am in the process of learning to fly and that I am looking for a micro lathe Taig/peatol/unimat or similar to try some engineering of small parts.
I did join the group with the purpose of gleening information as to which lathe to go for and avoid, but as I suspect as my skill levels develope I may be building scale models one day.
I bought a small Taig lathe, I'm very pleased with it and i've already made some nice work on it but still need to kit it out with a few more accessories for the jobs i need to work on.
i have a unimat, its quite elderly now but perfect for doing those little turning jobs, well happy with it, plus great for machining up model boat fittings !
Well I was searching for information about an aircraft called FRX-00 Mave, this is an aircraft from a Japanese animation program, since I enjoy interesting subjects to try to build I'm constantly looking for information on these many diffrent subjects, like this one.
