Hi to all you new guys and a warm welcome, even the ones who signed up by accident!!

I had a look around for a description of Atholl Blue and, apart from it being a popular colour for piano's and swimming pools, there doesn't seem to be a paint guide anywhere. I would suggest that you get hold of an example from say a model figure supplier and have a play with matching it by test mixing some humbrol colours.

I would not have expected though that Humbrol gloss paint whould have been the preferred choice for figures. Either Matt enamel or acrylics would give a more realistic finish for a figure and be a lot easier to blend and tone.

Google, i just googled the words ww2 model forums, and it brought up this site, so i signed up.

I was browsing the net trying to find a site like one i used to use, ww2 model maker, that seems to have stopped working, so i was looking for something similar, hopefully this forum will give me that.
