5thelement,there is no such thing as a stupid question,if there is ever a query then just fire ahead and ask,if we dont know the answer here then we know a man who does ! there are very few requests that go un-answered,and anyway there is a challenge in anything that is requested,it makes us all use our grey matter.

Credit is accepted, but titles not needed, and certainly I'm no mighty owner of any media interaction, bottom line is I was lucky enough to register a good domain and add some forum software to it, the rest is contributions from the members that are here, and they should take the credit for 99.9% of the content.

And that includes you

Il take a bow but mate i think if you ask the members on here you will not be surprised to see how much they hold you in esteem dont forget we are all modellers we all love the forum and its diversification but none of us ever thought or acted upon setting up a forum or group we all me included sit back and reap the benefits of your foresight and motivation.

Nigel, like yourself I feel we are very lucky to be united and to have gathered the people that we have here today,I do not think that there is any other medium that could have possibly brought together such a diverse selection of interesting individuals to exchange and share ideas,Bunkers has also highlighted the connection that it gives him with life back at home on dry land which I find both interesting and re-assuring that we have here maintained that vital spark within our hobby that helps others, but this forum goes much further than that because it deals with real people and not just a number,as we type in our thoughts it becomes apparent that many would be lost without that comradship that has been built up.
John certainly did make a very wise decision on the name for this forum, the catalyst was sown to make it what it is today, and it is wonderful to see how it has grown in such a short space of time, one thing is for sure and that is everyone here has contributed to that success,it has become part and parcel of our everyday lives.
Bravo !

i get a welcome rest from work !!!!- i often log on during coffee breaks and lunch from work !

i get pretty much what everyone gets,

i get different ideas and solutions to a problem or challenge,
i get creative advice and input,
i get a better understanding of the massive diverse world of modelmaking out there in cyber land
i get a sense of community- group goals
i also get an insight into other modelmakers and thier hobbies/ lives/ backgrounds

and i get to see stunning models, read great blogs, read good tutorials and exchange posts with people who without this forum i would never get to communicate with

so keep up the good work everyone !
