Is anyone going to support our country this year. I will and be missing the first match because of work. I have betted in school that brazil will win because England was taken. Ill be watching it with loads of nice cold beers mabe some bitters.

yes char i will be supporting my country, i am at work also but we have a radio in the kitchen and a tv in the restaurant so hopefully its not too busy tomorrow!!!

I was quoting from the famous joke about the Lone Ranger and his faithfull Indian(Native American) companion when they were surrounded by "Redskins"( Native Americans) and were down to their last bullet. The Lone Ranger sees the helpless situation they are in and says " it looks as if we are doomed Tonto old friend." The Indian replies "what do you mean WE Kimo Sabi ?" I should have asked " Our country" ? Mine(Native Scot) didnt qualify. I hope yours do well. Maybe in the future WE will have a British team in the World Cup and we can all cheer for OUR team.

i hate football usually, well dont hate it but hate people who live their life by following it. but i do like a good kick around at the park and support my country in what ever sport/event they are going for!

.....and did you know that adult English fans will be jailed for giving Nazi salutes or Hitler impressions while in Germany. Do you disagree with children being taught not to be jingoistic and intolerant of other nationalities and cultures ? As John Cleese said " dont mention the war" !
