Safety as they say is no accident.
The thing that should always be remembered is that we should always learn from what happened, and never let it happen again.

| Noted at Wellesbourne on 10-09-2006 was a rather bent Piper PA.28 G-AVGD which looks as if it has suffered a nose wheel collapse.

| Turkish F-16 wreckage has been recovered. The wreckage of a Turkish military aircraft, which crashed Monday in the north western Turkish province of Canakkale, was recovered by Turkish rescue teams on Tuesday afternoon.
The F-16 fighter jet from the 9th Main Jet Base 191st Fleet crashed on Kazdaglari Mountain near Canakkale on Monday afternoon. Fortunately, the pilot managed to eject before impact.
The pilot, First Lieutenant Ozgur Alagoz, was rescued unharmed by Turkish search and rescue teams late on Monday and taken to Balikesir via military
helicopter. He is reported to be in good condition.
The accident is thought to have taken place due to engine failure.
This is Turkey's third air force crash this year, the first was in early January and the second a mid air collision with a Greek F-16 over the Aegean sea in May.

| How to write off one Hughes 269 helicopter. http://vidsearch.myspace.com/index.c...oid=1183056291
Is the pilot just pushing his luck,or did he really think that it would not lift off ? note that he is not using the tail rotor pitch at all, that is why it is spinning like a top.
