| All of these young ladies who are encouraged by their dads are a very important part of our modelling scene, dont forget that for every member of this forum you can bet there are millions more out there ( females included) that are drawn to our wonderful hobby.
The most important thing is that modelling encourages mind, eye and hand co-ordination,to create something no matter how clumsily it is made in the early days does not matter, that foundation of basic skills is built upon to produce further masterpieces each one improving, just like everything in life skills are acquired over a long period of time, perfection is rarely achieved but we can keep striving for it,but the most important aspect is the enjoyment everyone gets from model building.
Cardigans-Well having had my fair share of oversize versions made from misalculated wool stock ! I can vouch for their inner warmth, before you stick the heating on for the winter wear that best cardigan until the bitter end, they are great items of clothing.

| So as I am also an Engineer in an Office environment that's me a fully paid up card bearing cardigan wearer then!!
Is there no hope?
Do I have anything else to look forward to apart from tartan slippers and a string vest?
I think I'm going to end it all by falling on my radio antenna!!

Make the most of it, I am very jealous! | I am very fortunate that she has the interest in modelling. At least the interest to spend time with me. I also have two boys on is going on 1 and the other on 3. I think my wife is already dreading when they are all old enough to have these kind of interests. Time to look for a bigger house with a workshop! Hehe.. but seriously.. I intend to make the most of it. I know I am very lucky. |

| When i did my industrial modelmaking degree there was 8 ladies on the course- 8 females in a group of 40,
i also employ 2 females in our models team so its definately not just a man thing, as for wearing cardigans then definately not !
