Just a warning to members,that there have been reports of people scamming for people to donate models to spurious museums,the models are sent usually to a non fixed address and then vanish into thin air after the donor makes enquiries if they have safely arrived.
Never ever assume that a hotel,museum or organisation exists,check first before donating anything otherwise you could easily be another victim of this latest ploy.
We recently alerted members to a request here for models required for someone who said they were setting up a museum in an hotel,that organisation did not exist,it seems that certain unsavoury types took advantage of a magazine article advertising for models to be donated,so be very careful otherwise your pride and joy that you wanted to go to a good home would probably be sold off elsewhere !
