I think i know what your about old chap...

YES... Blue tack will do the job as a masking agent for camo work, I used to pen out the pattern in black marker after doing the priming...then airbrush the main shade over the pen (marker will still be visible...just) then Blue tack over the area that i marked out in pen before air brushing next shade. Just done a real nice chieftan MBT using this method which im going to base this week.

I thought it was a very common camo method... been using it for a lot of years!

Ps... i used to make "old mouse" hover tanks for PARANOIA tabletop games as end level gardians, My prefered Pattern was S.S.1944 Camo but in sky blue and Purple with hints of Pink and mounting such dreaded weps as the ultra high velocity railgun custard pie thrower, The Marshmallow toaster/flamer and the all time fave... The Ewok (starwars cross-over games)launching morter.

Ahhh, now I understand,, never been into war games, so couldn't grasp the question. Sorry, You can use a stuff called silly putty too, bit like blue tack, place it on and mould it to the shape then paint then pull it off when done, people use it to cammo paint tanks etc...good luck.

Greetings... loyal servent of the computer (AKA Gaz), Alpha Sector will allways be there for those who know where to look.

Now where did the Baaaaa-Bot get too?

Regards,

Taskforce 57.

ps. For those of you who didnt spend the vast majority of their youth rolling dice... We (Gaz en I) would appear to have the same mental problem, a love of very ancient roleplaying games.
