where would you go, and what would you do??

Hi all

Today a few chums and I was having a discussion on not so good films we had seen and Arnie’s ‘Last Action Hero’ was mentioned, (I wonder why lol) and the topic then changed from films to what if you had that magic ticket that allowed you to access any film.

So I thought the first thing to do, would be jump into EP2 in the Jedi arena fight scene and hide till it was over then go get me a lightsaber.

I then thought to access more films you would need a home cinema with proper film projector, which means money. I decided diehard 3, and with lightsaber in hand, steel one of the trucks with the gold in it near the end, and drive off with it before they go down the tunnel.

A big house in the middle of nowhere with loads of grounds would be needed, to hide stuff in but with a truck load of gold not a problem.

I would then have to hop back to a SW film and have a good look around and get me a proper working R2 unit, plus a few other bits an bobs I found on the way, and not forgetting the charger thingy for him, so he doesn’t run out of power after a few days once home.

From a film only the older members here will know, called ‘She’ where every few thousand years a flame turns blue and if you walk through it, you don’t die or age a day more. No point having the possibility to go anywhere if you can die there as well.

While a space ship would be nice, we all felt it might draw a tad to much attention if the Millennium Falcon was parked in the field by your house, so decided you would have to limit yourself to what you could bring back, and could be hidden from prying eyes.

One chum, said he would push peter parker out the way and get bitten by the spider and become spiderman, and another one predictably just said ‘yer-porn films’ which we really all expected of him.

So perhaps without sounding boring, try and keep it to plausible. If you would go and do something, would it be something you could actually do. I for one would have no idea how to fly spaceship, even though I would love one.

So the big question is what would you all do if you had that magic ticket???

well. i think i to would go and get me a lightsabre to start off with, then get a nice X-302 from stargate sg-1.

i would then go to jarassic park (before it all goes wrong) to see some nice dinosours. then i think it would have to be all 10 episodes of band of brother to experience it along side them.

and the only other one i can think of at the moment would be star trek voyager so i could get to know 7 of 9 (gerri ryan)
