Steam Punked R2D2

Another site that i'm a member of. One of the other members AMOEBABOY has made "Steam Punked" R2D2, I think it is a work of art and stunning.
.Steam Punking is the art of victorianising modern day or Sci fi objects and equipment.

What an absolute belter!! Love it to bits!

It reminds me of that Wild Wild West movie with the huge great steam driven spider. It's just imagination running riot but the things that are created are absolute works of art as you say.

How about a steam driven tiger!!

That's quite a cool model and the idea is very well executed. Looks like someone had a lot of fun with that one !!

The steam powered Tank is very cool, now if they could get that boiler size down and fit it under a proper top that would be even better. Something along the lines of the Old Meccano steam engine would fit in there nicely, albeit it is single cylinder, it still has some poke - I know, I still have mine from 1973 !!

Regards.......Mark
