I can only urge as many as possible to sign up for the Airfix Collectors Club. Apart from the magazine and catalogue you are helping to keep alive the model making industry in the UK and I really think that Airfix have done a superb job of revamping the range. They are quoting over 100 new releases this year, which will almost certainly include a numebr of re-releases but nevertheless they have done a superb job and I am so please to see the new catalogue.

If you join you also get access to a very comprehensive paint identification chart that cross references all the major suppliers. You are asked not to repost it however for obvious reasons although I am sure it will not be long before it becomes in the public domain.

Sure it's great to see Airfix "back" we can't buy them if the subjects don't fit into what we do.
The Shaun the Sheep models I shall get for my mum, and naturally Matt will get a handful and I will get one. Thouhg unless they do more 48th then I can't support them.

We can only hope that Airfix go from strength to strength under thier new ownership and from there expand thier catalogue to please all tastes. Maybe at this stage of trying to put together a range that appeals to all they would appreciate feedback from customers regarding what thier preferences are.

I am sure they would appreciate knowing your own personal tastes, and you never know, if there is enough demand, you might just get what you wish for.
