hi

hi,
I am regular reader of this site .I am bigner in ship modleing I am converting a plastic PT model into r/c and I am having problem with the rubber movement .I am not using a servo but a very small motor to turn the rubber.Problem is it turn but how to bring the rubber to centre postion once u have turned the boat. please help

Hi there, welcome.

I rather think you may be giving yourself a big problem by not using a servo.The only thing that springs to mind is some sort of clutch mechanism, with a spring return to the central position. But that will take up as much room as a servo and i am assuming it is space that causes you to avoid such use.

Is it a space issue? there are small servo's available ( i don't know the kit)
