Introducing myself...

Hello, everbody. Newly joined, but a long-time model maker; I make aircraft usually, but am also known to paint miniatures for role-play and wagames.

Currently looking to convert and build Manchester, Lancaster, Lincoln and Shackleton kits. 1/72nd, maybe 1/48th if all goes well.
Also, projects on the back burner, a group of P-40 variants, a group of 'Battle of Britain' period camouflage examples, and jet/rocket research aircraft from all nations (currently stalled making Anigrand's D-558-1, 2, and 3).

On the downside, I do not care for pet theories, sacred cows or factional disputes. Documentary or physical evidence is required.
Which is why I once made a shiny spitfire, as the one I modelled was at an airshow in 1997; for example.

I look forward to discussions, and posting photos of works in progress.

welcome to the Board sacrsja.

nice to have an experienced modeller join. perhaps you could share your work with us?

i too like to make a realistic build. for the more serious ones i can spend a long time just researching the particular aircraft. but i have to say i do sometimes do some "pet" builds. like my underwater P-40 crash im doing.

Richard
