| | All Round Modeller | Now the Evenings are drawing in.......... Tis rapidly approaching traditional building time for new projects over the Winter......what do you have lined up for this winter....??
Myself, I have a few old models dug out for restoration/Finishing, including the Autogyro you have seen elsewhere on this site, My Tank, (also on here), Another car to finish (again on here too..!!) , Might dig out the Beaver mentioned elsewhere on here and I also have 2 scale Heli Fuz's to do (Bell 230UT and a Hughes 500E).....That lot should keep me busy for now...!!
So what's on your building board for this winter...??
Regards...........Mark. |

| Well I will definatly be starting my n gauge layout, once I moved everything in to the loft we started to get some nice weather and it is way too hot to spend anytime up there, I've been starting it for over 6 months now so it's about time I did something about it |

| More work on my HMS Nelson, and may even start 1/96th scale RFA Blue/Green/Grey or Black Rover. Haven't quite made my mind up which one to build yet.

| Must get the Typhoon finished, the re-build of Resolution and putting the dive tanks back into a Patrick Henry. Oh and I've got the drawings to convert into plans to scratch build the old Queensferry Passage car ferry Sir William Wallace. Think the days will be needed too!

| andrew, i for one would lurv to see the typhoon finished !
i think it will be an astounding model to watch fully operational. if you can it would be good to see regular updates as you go long, the engineering involved is amazing and watching come together and working would be great !

| Adzam - will do on my return from hols. Got to make sure all the electrics & mechanical links work smoothly before glassing in the WTC. I'll never get my hands inside the lid to adjust any faults if I fix it before a final test!

| | Guest | What does the building season hold. 1, Complete Four Stack destroyer[awaiting fittings from USA], 2, Complete 1/72nd Puffer [electronic gizmos on way], start 1/72 Hunt class destroyer. Put R/C Gear into 6 models so that they can be sailed. So as you can see I have a busy couple of years ahead. | |

| 1. Finish the Deans kit of Komet - about end of October
2. Probably get and build an Engles sub, either U-177 or the Gato
3. Work towards finishing the Fleetscale HMS Prince of Wales
4. do some more on the Fleetscale USS Missouri
Plenty to keep me busy, especially as the "boss" wants me to do some decorating and if it's at all fine the golf musn't be neglected.

| Well I can see everone is going to be extra busy for the winter, funny how it is almost on top of us before we know it,my own projects will include an Avro Anson for which I have already drawn up the plans in an inspirational moment.
I would also like to tackle another Gyrace autogyro to replace the one I lost and build another 'Duckfoot' for radio this time, this last one is a nostalgia thing having built two in my youth as free-flighters from the old Aeromodeller plans service drawings.
Yes you cannot beat killing the winter blues with lots of down to earth building can you ?
