Hi all, new guy here.

Came across the site and thought it looked pretty good. Since this site originates from England, I figured there would be tons of people to answer questions regarding WWII RAF aircraft. I am presently building a pile of 1.72 British bombers but do not know actually how the interiors were painted like wheel wells, bomb bays, struts etc. I am finishing up 3 Lancs. and starting on a Whitley and 3 Blenhiems. During the day I work on real airplanes and come home and build the little ones.....its a sickness I know. Any way if someone can point me to bomber experts that would be great. Thanks for the site, Scott

Welcome to this wonderful site Scott, hope you find things that you are looking for..........aircraft interiors? well I was in the RAF from '59 to '81, then the cockpit areas were painted a dark colour of green! I think the reason behind this thinking was that it is a colour that is restful to the eye, other interiors from the aircraft that I worked on were of a dark colour, greys and matt black, perhaps some other knowlegable modeller knows more....... I'm going back to the 70's and early80's.
