What a great story,

Franz certainly deserves his place up there with the Angels, He was obviously a true aviator like the stricken fellows that he rescued.

Nice to see that they had the chance to meet up too, I can only imagine the best friendship in the world between these guys when they met.

Franz was definitely the Hero on this occasion, He should certainly have been decorated for Very Honourable and Noble conduct.

Puts it all into focus really doesn't it?
I won't be overly bothered in the future if my wings are a bit lop-sided, I'll only have to remember the man whose heart was straight and level.
