A local model flying club were put to a lot of inconvenience last week when the lock on the gate to their field was found full of cured superglue,a printed sign stuck onto the gate said- Congratulations,you have been the subject of action by the animal rights movement,for more details about animal welfare visit www... etc
The silly bit is there is one horse which happily sticks its head over the fence in the next field,there is no cruelty to animals involved so what they are on about is anyones business ? the mind boggles as to the mentality of these people.
By the way if your own club has suffered from such attacks a friendly word from a locksmith friend advises that rusty locks be well oiled with a good silicone grease-oil,apparently the rust acts like a catalyst in itself and fuses instantly when cyno gets anywhere near it.
Lets hope that this never happens to your own field but take these precautions anyway.
