Thread: A really good show!

    A really good show!

I'd just like to say how much I enjoyed the model show at Cosford the other week.
The last model show I went to was the last one held at Cosford so it was quite fitting that my return to shws was there. Arwel was pleased with how I dealt with it so I'm improving, slightly.
I managed to get some really great things too. Yet another Concorde and the A380 in Airbus roll out scheme. Different for sure. Finally got the CMK DC2 to do Pan Am Grace *yeay* and the etch cockpit canopy for my Matchbox 32nd 109 and yet another Hasegawa F-14.
Guy got the 18th scale F103 and built it while we had a coffee and we took another friend who hadn't been to a model show before and was absolutely smashed on all the 35th stuff. Think he wants to go to Telford this year.
Wasn't that Dora mad! The Leopold was totally dwarfed by it!
I was hoping to get a few airliner accesories but there wasn't any, I'll def have to try telford.
A very good show and a lot of the models were interesting, the one that caught my eye and kept going back to was the 32nd Jolly Rogers F4, there was something about it that just insipred me to start doing mine soon.
If there was one overriding pic from that show was this one...

Probably the only one I go to nowadays is the one in Huddersfield in February if I'm home for it. I really do enjoy it though and maybe one day I'll treat myself to visit at a bigger one.

There again I seem to manage to do a fair amount of damage to the credit card when I go to the Model Engineering Show at Harrogate so I don't want too much temptation!! This year I'm home for the Harrogate show in May so really looking forward to it.
