Harrogate model Engineering and modelling exhibition 2008

    Hi folks ....

If anyone is at a loss for something to do over the 9/10/11 May.
Then the 2008 Model Engineering and Modelling Exhibition will be held at the Gt Yorkshire showground Harrogate.

Superb models of boats , planes , steam, and model engineering all under 1 roof plus engineering equipment and goodies, trade stands etc etc.

A fantastic show if the previous years are anything to go by.

    Sub.

Lovely engines there bunker, and nicely displayed too. I'll keep an eye out for those!

I was hoping to go to the show, the only problem apart from the long drive to get there is the amount of dosh I'll spend there if I do go.

I'm really after converting my Mill to cnc and Lester Caine will have a stand there, he's working on a cnc conversion kit for the Taig:

Not quite true, there were actually a good couple of thousand through the doors today!

It is actually a very good show with a lot of superb engineering exhibits on display. I would highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in Engineering modelling.

I thought it might be a tad busy ;)

Is there a floorplan for the exhibition on the net so I can get my bearings before I arrive?

Also what stand will you be on Bunk? Will you be around on the saturday too?

For my sins I have volounteered to be there all through the show. With an hour and a quarter at each end it makes a long day but very worthwhile and a lot of enjoyment. I will post a floor plan later after the missis has scanned it!!

I will be on the Kirklees stand but if not around any one of the members there will know where I am skiving!

Yes, definately the one to go to! I have a model of a Fairmile 'D' on show on the Kirklees MBC stand. Great exhibition.
