Oh God How I hate Talented people its just not fair (Never wrestle with a pig... You both get dirty but the pig likes it )
Well, Like me, Johnny is also a member of Zealot.com - Card Models - CardModels.net which is a cardmodels forum. A few years back i came to this forum in an effort to expose members of both forums (this one and the card models forum) to each others talent and craftsmanship. I was successful in getting members from each forum to join and look at the other forum, Johhny was one of the members who did like me and now has "Dual-Citizenship" one here and one at the other forum. If you like Johnnys work and would like to see other peoples craftsmanship in the cardmodel field, why not drop by and visit the cardmodel forum, there are no rules that says you cant belong to both sites I think when you visit over there you will see that you will recognize a few more members from here over there and vise versa. The two sites actually compliment each other and provide an outlet for the cardmodelers to show off their work in both forums. Currently there is even a thread where-in one of the cardmodelers over at the other forum is transforming a cardmodel of the U.S.S. Enterprise space ship into a plastic model (which can be done in several ways, one i am familiar with is printing card models directly onto plastic sheet stock material and cutting out and assembling). One advantage to this would be the ability to create your own plastic models of your own design since alot of cardmodelers design their own models. The current photo of the week at the cardmodel site is of a Roland C.II Walfish WWI german Biplane which was designed and built by a good friend of mine "Getter 1". I am not sure if he is offering it as a free download or not but i am sure he will be releasing it soon. If you would like to read his build thread, you can find it here along with photos of the processes Rolland C.II Beta Build - Zealot Hobby Forum Anyway, Back to johnny, I too hope he is well and look forward to more of his threads myself. Hopefully he will see your posting and drop you a line.
Have a good day,
Greg
EDIT: Upon further reading of my friends posting on his build of the Roland C.II Walfish, I did find that he is offering it as a free download in 1:72 scale here: http://forum.zealot.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=561
Well I think that Johnny deserves a well earned break, and perhaps that is what he is doing just taking time out,his card modelling epics have left a lasting impression on us all as to what can be achieved in humble card as a modelling material, take a bow Johnny we love to see the labours your craftsmanship and it is inspiration to us all, thank you.
