hi everyone!! firstly let me say how happy i am to have stumbled on such a good site.... verry!!
now amongst various other hobbies and interests i have.. i have a passion for scale models.
I a new to the scene. and ammostly interested in helicopters.
curently i am still a learner; totally self tought solo flyer.
i have a raptor 60 incased in a loverly police as 350 squirell.
now however i have another interest in cars.. and it is this that leads me to this site.
first let me tell you my plan.
originally i thought of building a large 1/2 scale rc model of a road car.
then after a short look around at the large scale models, witch wasnt many at all?. i found a couple of large scale models whitch were totaly drivable...
this had my attention somewhat and this is were i decided to go from there..
now i have most things coverd as in the build of the car and engine. its goin to be powerd by a 600cc in line 4 cylinder turbo superbike engine running around 140bhp. am i mental???
anyway as i mentioned before i want it to be an exact scale replica of a road production car and this is where ime totally stuck.
and as a result my search has bought me here.
you see my problem is why the hell might i find such a lage scale bodyshell for my crazy project?
obviously undecided on what shell?due too not actually sieng any around.
as a result i wonderd if any of you guys might know of any such large scale moddel cars i might be able to look at?
i know this topic is a little far off from normal modeling.
never the less i would still like to hear from you guys as any information on this subject would be much appreciated.
