      Japanese SNCO, Saipan 1944

      1/16 scale resin figure with metal parts. Painted with Vallejo acrylics and artist oil paints.
      The base is scratch built, added extra details to the figure, the sun protecting flaps on the cap and some straps and such.

      Tommy, that is one superb figure. The painting of the flesh, indeed the whole model, is the best figure painting I've seen.

      The figure is almost 10cm from head to toe.

      phalinmegob,
      The base is made of white glue and very fine sand, on that I put some bit and pieces of wood, dried pieces of plants and such. All is stuff that I have found outside.
      I have also used pieces of fresh plants, but I have dried them in my microwave to remove all moisture and to kill all small bugs before painting.
