Cracking, self same model as i've just made, also was a members lady wife's first build just recently too, they are a lovely looking plane aren't they.
Between the Spit and Hurricane i'd pick the latter any day but between the 109 and 190 it's a tough call.
      Mine here:
      http://www.scale-models.co.uk/planes...ulfe-190d.html (Airfix 1:72 Focke Wulfe 190D)

Lovely little kit isn't it for a cheap and cheerful Airfix.

Well it looks fine to me. It just goes to show that you can get a good result with the old hairy stick. Bf109 or Fw190? It's a big question and very dependent on time/variant but if I'm taking on allied fighters post 1943 I'll take the Fw190.
      Cheers

Thankyou, as I said in mine there were bits I wasn't happy with but as per Stona's post, yours is a cracking paint job for a brush, especially if you used the kit supplied paints and brush to boot.
Also brave to do the mottling by brush, I was never brave enough to attempt that when I built these kind of kits as a kid, (If I recall, most ended up with a generic RAF style Hurricane camo pattern)
