      1/72 fw 190- r11 nightfighter

I submit my Revell 1/72 FW190 for your inspection.
Brush painted using Vallejo Model Colour and Humbrol enamels for the titchy bits!
I though after hiding my first one under leaves I would have a go at a complete one. Although a small scale, it went together really well.
The radar antenna were a pain to clean up but everything else was spot on and quite straight forward. (Sez he wot can't see proper no more!!!)
I have no doubt there are inaccuracies somewhere, but hey ho!
      Here it is...
Now, please can I get back to some armour Graham?!!!!!

      Ron
Off to Pembrokeshire in a couple of days to celebrate our Ruby wedding, so I intend to loose my brains to 'Brains' (Which is the famous Welsh beer) so I will be a.w.o.l. for a spell.....
      OOPs....No radio aerial !!!!!!!!!!!!

1/72 you wouldn't believe. Really nice little night fighter. I remember doing a similar set of aerials on the nose a 1/48 Bf110 with much effing and blinding so I imagine you had a great time with those little ones! Looks great.
      Cheers

Another good 'un Ron mate! Especially in such small scale.

I better pull my finger out and get mine finished as you've had to do two on account of me nickin' your first idea! (I'll try this weekend as I've now got all the bits I need).

Have a good break an' we'll see you when you get back.

Congratulations on your Ruby, quite an achievement these days but I ams sure the years have slipped by in misty love filled clouds..... Enjoy your break and when you get back you may certainly get on with some armour and leave the flying things alone for a while. Nice build and pics as always Ron.

Hi Ron, Congratulations to you and your Wife on your Ruby Wedding. Another lovely model beautifully weathered, and I for one would like to see how you do your brush painting. Never mind the armour stick to the winged beasties. Cheers Derek

Thanks for the good wishes everyone. They all said it wouldn't last.....on a couple of occasions it nearly didn't. BOTH were when I took up modelling again this time last year!! Be warned, lol

Derek, I have a little thread which I did recently about brush painting, it's still on page 1 'My second attempt...'
It is very difficult to put in writing how I brush paint models but it gives a bit of an idea.
      Cheers,
      Ron

Hi Ron, congrats to you and the Mrs. Hope you had a good time away.
Nice looking night fighter. I can believe those aerials were a swine to clean up, and in 1/72! You got to have some patience, good eyesight, a sharp scalpel and a steady hand for that job! No Brains beer before hand then!

      Cheers
      Paul
