Hi i have bought a laptop to use aswell as my pc i have connected it to the internet using my modem for my other pc but when i try and look at my fotopic site i can't see my photos and i can't seem to think what is stop me from seeing them,i have downloaded some things to help with other things but i am sure i need something to see them and if anyone knows what it is please can you help me.It works on my pc upstairs ok just not the laptop.

It's ok now i found the problem it was the Norton Internet Security i had installed on my laptop and i disabled it and it works so i will have to get mcfee internet security of my brother tomorrow.

I should of looked at there FAQ's for photos not showing up last night and i would of sovled it quicker instead of racking my brain all night trying to think why it wouldn't load up but all sorted now thank goodness.

Got another problem when i load a website up from my favorites the gif images take there time to load up does anyone know what it could be as i haven't a clue,i don't have the problem on my pc upstairs just on my laptop.

Possibly they're cached (saved) on your PC but not on the laptop.

How do i sort it then scottie as i don't have a clue i can see the pic at the top of the page but if they have other pics to see they are the ones i can't see.

Is it just one site that loads slowly or any that has lots of pictures?
If its just one, what's the address?
To check and change the cache size in Internet Explorer go to 'Tools - Internet Options...' click the 'General' tab and then the 'Settings' button in the 'Tempory Internet files' section of the window. This will show the size of the cache. If you've got enough disk space try increasing it.

Sorry scottie my last post was about another problem i still have but to the one i was talking about the gif's on the websites loading slowly i increased it to the same as my pc but still the same as before but i will increase it more to see if that helps at all .
And now to the problem i was talking about in my last post at 12:08 was about when i go onto ebay and there is some more photos at the bottom of the page of a seller i can't see them but can on my pc upstairs and i just can't find why i can't see them.

If you are on xp do a diskclean...this only takes a few mins but will clear all the clutter on your machine including temp files and you will notice a slight speed increase and should be able to view your pics then, I normally clear mine out everyday from the tools>internet options>delete files (make sure u tick the box as well) I do the diskclean once a month.
