| TWAIN Problem ? At the moment I am on a standby computer and need to do some scanning, however when I attempt to import the TWAIN industry standard I keep getting the message 'Unable to find, check to see if the scanner is connected' I have checked & re-checked and tried different graphics programmes to no avail, the scanner is certainly connected but somehow it is not getting recognised, any clues as to what can be wrong here ?
Thanks.
PS-The scanner is on a USB link,I have tried re-connecting it direct rather than to the the powered hub but still no joy.

| Have you tried rebooting? mine does this but I just reboot and it works.
On another note, do you know what TWAIN stands for?
I don't know if this is true but I've never seen any other meaning for it, it's supposed to be
"Technology Without An Interesting Name"
just thought I would throw that in free

| | All Round Modeller | I had same problem not so long ago but just re-installed the drivers for my scanner and it sorted it.
Might be worth checking for latest drivers whilst you are there and try them.
