Well here is the first problem my forum fans..(it never ends does it)
Was opening a cd containing pics fron the old computer.Which was installed using sony/bclip software. Now the Dell software is different and when asked which programme do I want to open this with. Me (idiot) chose microsoft word, It should have been photo show pro (P S Pro). Now everytime I try and open it, it won't and I have tried to open with photo shop pro but says can't open this microsoft word file with P S Pro. Can I do something to erase the word file and replace it and open this cd with P S Pro
oooohhhhh !!!
Please don't guess an answer and send me off down the wrong road, much appreciated.
martin

Thanks Nigel but there is a wee bit more to it that that. I seem to have put a message or instruction on the C.D. to open useing Microsoft Word.I would like to try and erase this instruction. All my other C.D.s open with Paint Shop Pro. I just slipped up choosing Miscrosoft Word on this C.D./

To change a file association open up my documents or any other folder, click on tools then folder options and file types, you will see a list of file types choose the one you want and press change, it will then list a programs that can be associated with them
