| Outlook Any ideas please gents.
All my E-mails and contacts at home are managed in Outlook Express 6 on the desktop. I have exported them all to Outlook (I think 2000) then exported them from there to two .pst files, messages and contacts.
I have to do this as I can't find any way of exporting to any file from Outlook Express 6.
I now want to transfer this file to my Laptop so that all my old e-mails and contacts reside on the laptop as well. The laptop runs Outlook 2003 and Outlook Express 6.
I cannot get the laptop to read the files.
Ultimately I want all my e-mails and contacts in Outlook Express 6 on the laptop so any hints or tips on how I might achieve this would be appreciated. |

| hi richard, my dad has this problem with our new pc. what you need to do is go to (on your pc) documents and settings/username (being the user area you used)/aplication data.
now here is where i cant remember, you need to have a look around, it might be in a folder called microsoft or it might be in a folder called outlook express, in there you shall find all the files you need to copy. also in documents and settings/username there will be another folder containing all the contacts.
im a bit fuzy but hope this helps in some way |

| Thanks guys, I wanted the messages and contacts to be in Outlook express on the laptop but I would be happy to get them into either at the moment. |
