Smile Outlook

Any ideas please gents.

All my E-mails and contacts at home are managed in Outlook Express 6 on the desktop. I have exported them all to Outlook (I think 2000) then exported them from there to two .pst files, messages and contacts.

I have to do this as I can't find any way of exporting to any file from Outlook Express 6.

I now want to transfer this file to my Laptop so that all my old e-mails and contacts reside on the laptop as well. The laptop runs Outlook 2003 and Outlook Express 6.

I cannot get the laptop to read the files.

Ultimately I want all my e-mails and contacts in Outlook Express 6 on the laptop so any hints or tips on how I might achieve this would be appreciated.

hi richard, my dad has this problem with our new pc. what you need to do is go to (on your pc) documents and settings/username (being the user area you used)/aplication data.

now here is where i cant remember, you need to have a look around, it might be in a folder called microsoft or it might be in a folder called outlook express, in there you shall find all the files you need to copy. also in documents and settings/username there will be another folder containing all the contacts.

im a bit fuzy but hope this helps in some way

Thanks guys, I wanted the messages and contacts to be in Outlook express on the laptop but I would be happy to get them into either at the moment.
