Something has changed here ?



Now this is annoying me,at one time I could easily copy and paste a link from the box at the top after a Google search,but I dont know what has happened recently as all I get is the link shown at the top in the blued section like this ? once more you cannot place your mouse over it to copy the link from the blue box ? what has happened,have I knocked something ? what can I do to copy and paste a link as before,on every site that I go to the same header appears,please help !!

*** No difference Tigertc ? should the 'Lock the toolbars' be ticked also ?

do you have the google tool bar?

if so, go to sart - settings - control pannel - add or remove programs...

have a look through the list and find "google tool bar" and uninstall it.

see if that helps

(locking the toolbars just means you cant move them around)....have a look around where it should be, see if its mostly off the page or something, you never know you could have accidently moved it if they are not locked.

I am not so sure that I want to remove it,apart from this problem it is fine ? does anyone else have this toolbar and the problem with transferring links ?

Must have been a conflict somewhere as I noticed that my E-bay account guard had vanished ? un-installed & re-installed and it is back to normal,very odd this as I have never installed the Google toolbar which has now vanished since the account guard uninstal/re-install ? I think there are bugs in this as every now and again I get a freeze which Microsoft say is the E-bay install,a quick restart and it is fine.
I ask myself is there something around trying to remove these account guards ? a security loophole perhaps ?
