| Virus attack no, not avian influenza hitting our lands..my computer.
I accidently pressed the "yes" button on a stupid automatic download prompt and it hastely put a "trojon" on my system.
which then proceded to (once detected) infect my spyware prgram and load a heck of alot of spyware and addware onto my system, infected key system files which made my virus detector delete them. My computer whent from super-fast, to not being able to do much at all in the space of a night!
Luckely the first thing it infected was my network card driver so they got deleted, meaning no internet, meaning no information about me or my computer (passwords...etc) could be sent out.
it just really annoys me that people dont just do this to obtain information and access to accounts, they do it for a laugh!!!
Tonight i have had to format my computer and re-install windows, now i cant find my driver cd so i am having to use my partents computer for the internet. the most annoying thing being i had 3 years of college work, pictures of me and my girlfriend, friends, family and lots of other important and sentimental documents!...all gone due to some spotty 15 year old little computer hackers laugh on a thursday night!
ARGHHHH!!!! |

| I once made the mistake of opening an e-mail attachment that put a virus into my Internet browser and everytime I opened it it came up with a Porn page.
The guys at my local Computer shop couldn't help so I had to go for a complete reformat. (I also had to explain to Annette that this was not of my doing!!!)
Hanging slowly would be too good for them. |

| A thing to remember, emails from ebay, banks, paypal etc or any asking to confirm your details, either delete or forward to the place where they are supposed to come from, most banks have departments that just deal with this sort of stuff, Also Richard W 3 things to say to you, backup, backup and backup CD's cost pennies so there's no excuse not to backup regular it will save you a lot of heart ache, You could have reinstalled your network card drivers and downloaded MS new Windows Defender it's quite good and might have sorted you out |

| You're having some fun there Richard.
I'm impressed with your Dad doing the vacuuming but he obviously drives it without due care and attention.
This sounds like one of those domino effects. I had one on the ship last year and I couldn't beleive how so many things could go down, one after the other, as a result of then previous disaster.
If I get really bored I'll tell you about it one day!! |

| I`ve been warned by some knowledgable people not open any attachments with WTC or World Trade Center on it. Note spelling of last word so you can guess which military sources gave the warning. |
