| Press alt+ctrl+del to bring up your task manager and click on the process tab, see if you have anything that's using an abnormal amount of memory

| dfrgntfs.exe is the Windows defrag program and using 50MB of memory. If it is running automatically, do the following to disable it:
Open REGEDIT
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Dfrg\BootOpt imizeFunction
Change the value of the key "Enable" from Y to N
Then reboot

| I would probably say your biggest problem is your using Norton security and firewall and also have a trojan checker running, which may also conflict, I wouldn't install any Norton product now, it's bloat ware and can cause a lot of problems and slow down with your system

| Barry the oter thing that your computer might be running slow and using to much memory is becuase you have too much programmes running in the background. If you where to have easycleaner then it can clean all the unnesscary files and files that might be cloging up your pc which are not needed. i found that it works like a charm and also it stops certain programmes running in the background. |
