A bit of a tip re. exporting - use it to backup everything, (in one big PST file), you don't ever want to lose, to another drive/mem stick/dvd or whatever. It can save a load of grief should the worse happen!

If you want to have your email on both your computer and laptop you will need to delete the POP account and add a IMAP what that does is keep your mail on a central server, ie your ISP's and you sync with that, I use it and I can check my email on my computer, laptop and PDA, if I deleted something I've read on my PDA it doesn't show on the other 2

So do I just need to remove POP and replace it with IMAP ? or do I need to download something ? sounds ideal.

Steve,a good habit to get into is to do a weekly save of all your important stuff to disks,number/date them and make a library of them, the discs are cheap and one day you could be really grateful for the backup material.
What does PST stand for ?

In Outlook go to Tools/Accounts, then in Server settings tab write down what the settings are, ie mail.yourisp.com for both POP and SMTP then create a new account with those settings but when creating it instead of choosing POP choose IMAP, once it's working ok remove your POP account

It might be that NTL don't have a IMAP server, you could forward them to your scale-models email address and setup using the scale-models server, if you want to do that I can get you a file that will set it up for you

Barry, A .PST file is an Outlook back up file. You can export to a .PST file ans then use other copies of Outlook to read or import the file.
