If you follow the Export Wizard from the File Menu in Outlook you will be given the option to save as a .PST file.

Unfortunaltely I don't think you can do the same with Express. I save all my e-mails on the ship as a .PST file which has proved useful on more than one occassion.

Well you live and learn,I have overlooked this useful facility, thanks Richard for pointing it out to me.

I'm not sure to be honest. I end up with some unbeleivably large files so I suspect not. Don't forget you are also backing up all your attachments including pictures so it can be a substantial amount.

Back it up to somewhere with plenty of space first!!

oamtion onto a cd or onto another hard drive if you have one. It would be easier to do it that way.
